Join Democrats of Greater Irvine (DGI) for our Irvine City Council Endorsement Meeting — YOUR opportunity to hear directly from those running for mayor and city council in Districts 1, 5 and 6.

(Irvine currently has a 5-member Democratic majority on the council — out of 7 —  of which the positions for mayor and city council in Districts 1, 5 and 6 represent 4 out of the 5 members of the majority.)

Come to the meeting and meet the candidates, hear their visions, and ask questions. The meeting will be hybrid via in-person and on Zoom.

After the meeting, those members-in-good-standing at the meeting will be eligible to participate in the club's support-for-endorsement vote.

*Only DGI members-in-good standing who are present at the March 18 meeting - either in person or via Zoom — will be eligible to participate in the club's online support-for-endorsement vote. This vote is prescribed by our club's bylaws as the required step to direct our representative's vote in the Democratic Party of Orange County's endorsement process for Irvine Mayor and City Council.
